Hello,
My name is Gerrty and they call me the Grain Digger. If you are seeing this letter it means you just bought some of my celluloid. Unfortunately I got a little hungry and all thats left is black and white. It’s a little grainy, but thats my favorite part.
Happy Shooting,
Gerrty
Grain Digger started its life as a high speed film for night photography of missile launches. Having a box speed of 800 it was easily pushed to 2000, allowing photographers to capture the night sky during these events. Fast forward to 2024 and the film is getting a new life.
Grain digger creates a lower contrast image, with pronounced grain structure. This film is for photographers that aren’t shy about showing the world that they shot on film. Gerrty would approve!
Shoot at ISO 100 or push to ISO 2000, its really up to you. Grain digger allows its artists to explore the history of celluloid, breathing life into a forgotten film stock!
